Henry Butler "Harry" Cave (10 October 1922 in Wanganui, New Zealand – 15 September 1989 in Wanganui) was a New Zealand cricketer who captained New Zealand in nine of his nineteen Tests.
He played for Wellington from 1945-46 to 1949-50, then when the Central Districts side was formed he played for them from 1950-51 to 1958-59, captaining the side from 1953-54 until he retired.
He toured England in 1949 and 1958, and Pakistan and India in 1955-56, when he captained the side in all eight Tests. He was captain in the First Test against the West Indies in 1955-56, missed the Second Test, then returned for the Third and Fourth Tests under the captaincy of John Reid. In the Fourth Test in Auckland, he took four wickets in each innings (match figures of 40.4-26-43-8) to help New Zealand to its first ever Test victory.〔(New Zealand v West Indies, Auckland 1955-56 )〕
In 1952-53 he and Ian Leggat added 239 for the ninth wicket for Central Districts against Otago in Dunedin.
